Danish Crown is set to establish a new production facility in Vejen, Denmark, aimed at deboning pork foreends from Danish pigs. The facility will be located in a 14,000 square meter building that Danish Crown acquired in April 2023. The company plans
to start operations by October 1, 2026, with the capacity to process 60,000 pork foreends per week. This expansion is driven by an increase in pig supplies from Danish farmers, necessitating additional deboning capacity. The new facility will create 100 jobs and is strategically located near Danish Crown's abattoirs in Jutland, allowing for efficient operations and export capabilities.
