James Mark Cassidy, a cherished member of the Palatine, Illinois community, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 83. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Murphy, and his children, Micaela
Cassidy, Beth Nabors, and the late Daniel Cassidy. James was a devoted grandfather to several grandchildren and step-grandchildren. He was also a caring son to the late James Michael and Mary Ellen, and a devoted brother to his siblings. A visitation is scheduled for December 16, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Inverness, followed by a Mass. Interment will take place at All Saints Catholic Cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to The ARC Baltimore or JOURNEYS|The Road.
