What's Happening?
The Village of Homewood, in collaboration with local businesses and organizations, organized a community relief pop-up event to support residents affected by recent tornadoes and thunderstorms. The event took place in Martin Square, where community members
received free bottled water, storm supply kits, and pizza slices. This initiative was a joint effort involving Domino’s Pizza of Homewood, Berkot’s Super Foods, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and ComEd. The relief effort was in response to the severe weather that left many residents in Homewood and the South Suburbs without power.
