What's Happening?
Halliburton has been awarded a contract by Basra Oil Company to provide integrated field management services and engineering, procurement, and construction management for the development of the Bin Umar and Sindbad oil and gas fields in southern Iraq.
The project aims to accelerate development and enhance Iraq's domestic production capacity. Halliburton will deploy its Landmark software portfolio to create a digital platform for improved operational visibility and decision-making. The development program seeks to increase crude oil production and expand the capture and utilization of associated gas for Iraq's domestic market.
