What's Happening?
Johnathan Alvarado, a senior at Carson High School, has been recognized by the Rotary Club of Carson City as part of their Senior Spotlight program. Alvarado has excelled in both academics and athletics, maintaining a 3.83 weighted GPA while completing
10 honors and AP classes. He has also been involved in the Early Childhood Education pathway, earning a Silver Medal at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America State Conference. On the football field, Alvarado rushed for 1,222 yards and nine touchdowns, earning First Team All-Northern Region honors. His achievements have led to an athletic scholarship at Dickinson State University, where he plans to continue his education and football career.
