Kean University, a prominent urban research institution in New Jersey, has announced a strategic partnership with Braven, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping students with essential
career skills. This collaboration will introduce the Braven Career Accelerator program at Kean, starting in Fall 2026. The program is designed to provide students with hands-on career preparation, mentorship, and professional development through a 3-credit course. Initially targeting sophomores and juniors in the College of Business and Public Management and liberal arts programs, the initiative aims to expand to serve up to 1,000 students annually by 2028. The program includes weekly online modules and small-group Learning Labs led by volunteer professionals, focusing on key competencies such as career navigation, communication, teamwork, and leadership.
