Marjorie Louise (Brooks) Colley, a resident of Macomb, Illinois, passed away at the age of 86 on November 21, 2025. Born in Boyne City, Michigan, she was known for her dedication to community service and
her work with the YMCA and YWCA. Colley was instrumental in developing senior center programs and served as Executive Director for YWCAs in Canton and Aurora, focusing on eliminating racism and empowering women. After retiring, she pursued photography, winning several contests and exhibiting her work locally. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and husbands.
