The company has installed a Dynamic Ecosystem for Improved Performance (DEEP) at its La Spezia experimentation center, which includes a network of underwater sensors, a control center for real-time management, and an AI-based data processing system. The global market for sea-drone systems is projected to reach 18.9 billion euros by 2030, with Fincantieri expecting its undersea business revenue to double by 2027.
