Renk Group has introduced its latest innovation, the HSWL 076 transmission, at the DSEI 2025 event in London. This new transmission is designed to meet the demands of modern lightweight tracked vehicles and is the result of a two-year development partnership with Finnish defense company Patria. The HSWL 076 is the first of a new generation of transmissions, featuring a digital drivetrain landscape. It has undergone extensive field testing and is currently in the initial functional testing phase. The transmission includes an integrated digital interface and monitoring systems, which are intended to support advanced assistance and autonomous driving features. Weighing approximately 700kg, it is optimized for light tracked vehicles weighing between 13 and 21 tonnes and can reach speeds up to 90km/h.
