Ryan furthered his education by earning a Master's Degree at Northern Illinois University. He dedicated over 30 years to teaching in the Palatine community, impacting many lives through his profession. After retirement, he moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where he enjoyed the weather and his dogs. Ryan is survived by his wife, Helene, daughter Stacey, brother John Vincent III, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James, and wife Kathleen. A memorial service is planned for Spring 2026, with private interment.
