What's Happening?
The Arts in the Heart of Augusta festival is set to take place from September 19 to 21, offering a diverse array of international cuisines at its Global Food Village. The festival, located in downtown Augusta, will feature dishes from approximately 20 countries, including specialties like Jamaican ox-tail, Indian chickpeas in curry, and German schnitzel. The event is organized by the Greater Augusta Arts Council and will be held at Reynolds Street, Augusta Common, and along portions of the Savannah River. Due to construction on Broad Street, the festival has been relocated to accommodate the expected high foot traffic.
