The Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT) recently hosted its 10th annual Great Minds Hackathon, where 85 students from diverse backgrounds, including participants from the United States, tackled over
20 industry challenges. The event focused on sectors such as HealthTech, AI, defense, and education. The top prize was awarded to ReMind, a HealthTech platform designed to reduce dropout rates in youth therapy. ReMind aims to create a seamless connection between therapists and families by gamifying therapeutic routines for children and providing data-driven insights for clinicians. The hackathon also recognized other innovative projects, including SmartTest, an AI tool for grading handwritten exams, and The Roots, an AI agent for automating venture capital due diligence.
