Aurelien Fontenoy, a cyclist and social media personality, has set a new world record by cycling up the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Fontenoy completed the climb to the second-floor platform, which is the highest point accessible by stairs, in 12 minutes and 30 seconds. This achievement is part of his project 'The Climb,' where he previously cycled to the top of the Trinity Tower in Paris and the TV Tower in Tallinn, Estonia. The Eiffel Tower's operator, Societe d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel, confirmed that Fontenoy broke the previous record by nearly seven minutes, with the condition that his feet did not touch the ground during the climb.
