French engineering firm GTT has been contracted by Hanwha Ocean shipyard to design tanks for a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier for a North American shipowner. The vessel will have a total capacity of 174,000 cubic meters and will feature the NO96 L03+ membrane containment system developed by GTT. The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for the first quarter of 2028.
