The Hawaii Symphony Orchestra (HSO) has featured Mieke Doezema, the Community & Education Coordinator, in its 'Staff Picks' segment. Doezema, who is also a graduate student at the University of Hawaii-Mānoa, shared a playlist that includes a variety of classical
and contemporary pieces. Her selections aim to provide insight into the music that influences and balances her life. The playlist features works such as 'Concerning Hobbits' from The Lord of The Rings by Howard Shore and 'Danson No.2' by Arturo Márquez, among others.
