William 'Jim' Joseph Pearce, aged 88, passed away on December 23, 2025, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital in Pennsylvania. Known for his strong work ethic, Pearce dedicated his life to coal mining, retiring
from the Hillsdale Mining Company. He was a devoted family man, married to Mary 'Mim' C. Kime for over sixty-six years. Pearce was also an avid hunter, sharing his love for the outdoors with his family. He is survived by his four sons, six grandchildren, and siblings. A funeral service is scheduled at Rairigh Funeral Home, with interment at Rowley Cemetery.
