Richard Thomas Krubeck, a respected legal professional and community volunteer, passed away at the age of 80 on September 27, 2025. A double alumnus of DePaul University, Krubeck had a distinguished career as legal counsel for various corporations in the Chicagoland area, retiring from Snap-On in his 70s. Beyond his professional achievements, Krubeck was deeply committed to his family and community. He was known for his annual family vacations to Marco Island, a tradition he cherished since the 1980s. A passionate supporter of Chicago sports, he was a dedicated fan of the White Sox and DePaul Blue Demons. Krubeck also contributed significantly to his community, serving as a board member for ElderCARE of Lake County, an organization focused on senior well-being. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly and Cynthia, and four grandchildren. His funeral services are scheduled for October 2, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville.
