Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group, has lauded the agricultural initiatives of Uttar Pradesh, India, under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath. During the AgriConnect Flagship event at the 2025

This model, according to Banga, serves as a global example for small and marginal farmers. The initiatives include the use of climate-tolerant seeds, soil-specific fertilizers, regenerative farming methods, efficient irrigation systems, and robust crop insurance measures.
