What's Happening?
The Energy Transition Africa (ETA) has launched its first cohort of the ETA Fellows Programme, aimed at building human capital for Africa's energy transition. The programme, which began on July 31, includes fifteen professionals from eight African countries,
selected from over 230 applicants. The eleven-week programme focuses on enhancing the analytical and institutional capabilities of participants, who come from diverse sectors such as government, regulation, infrastructure, and civil society. The initiative is part of ETA's broader strategy to address the human resource constraints that can hinder the effective implementation of energy transition projects across the continent.

The ETA Fellows Programme addresses a critical gap in Africa's energy transition: the need for skilled professionals who can navigate complex energy markets, negotiate climate finance, and manage infrastructure projects.
