led by Dr. Ashwini Sehgal from Case Western Reserve University, is the first to explore the impact of stove type on asthma symptoms. The study involved 85 participants with poorly controlled asthma, who reported their symptoms before and after their gas stoves were replaced with electric induction models. The results showed a significant decrease in indoor nitrogen dioxide levels by 70%, and participants reported a reduction in asthma symptoms from moderate to mild. Additionally, there was an 80% decrease in missed work or school days and a 70% reduction in emergency room visits and hospitalizations.
