What's Happening?
StoryCorps and NPR's Morning Edition have launched Connect250, a project pairing thousands of Americans for intimate conversations to commemorate the country's 250th anniversary. Participants engage in 40-minute video calls, discussing topics such as
their experiences, misconceptions about their communities, and messages for future generations. The project aims to foster human connection and understanding, offering participants the option to share their conversations publicly or keep them private. Shared interviews are archived at the Library of Congress' American Folklife Center, contributing to a time capsule of American voices.
