Corey Toler-Franklin, Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Barnard College, is applying advanced computer graphics and vision techniques, including artificial intelligence (AI) and neural networks, to the ongoing investigation of the 1921 Tulsa
Race Massacre. Collaborating with forensic anthropologist Phoebe R. Stubblefield and the '1921 Graves Investigation' team, Toler-Franklin's research aims to identify victims buried in unmarked graves and reconstruct historical events.
