MegaFon Tajikistan has made significant progress in modernizing and expanding its telecom network in the first half of the year. The company upgraded 47 base stations with additional 4G frequency bands and launched new base stations in 23 settlements.
MegaFon also conducted a successful 5G test, achieving a data transfer rate of 1.1 Gbps. On the fibre front, the company began operations of its southern transport ring in the Khatlon region and completed the Dushanbe-Shurobod-Darvoz transport route. These projects aim to increase network stability and support the growth of internet traffic.
