A delegation of Ugandan farmers, led by the Executive Director of the Private Sector, Mr. Stephen Asiimwe, and Ambassador Beatrice Pacunega, visited Rijk Zwaan in the Netherlands as part of the Agri and Horticultural Trade Mission. The visit aims to explore
innovative farming practices and value addition techniques. Rijk Zwaan, a Dutch plant breeding and seed company, collaborates with Holland Greentech to provide improved seed varieties to Ugandan farmers. The mission seeks to increase agricultural production and boost exports to Europe by adopting modern agricultural techniques.
