What's Happening?
Benedictine College has been recognized for its academic and athletic excellence, with 147 student-athletes named Heart Scholar Athletes by the Heart of America Athletic Conference. This achievement places Benedictine third in the conference, following
Grand View University and Mount Mercy University. The Heart Scholar-Athlete honors require a varsity student-athlete to maintain a GPA of 3.4 or higher and have completed at least 60 credit hours. Benedictine's Athletic Director, Charlie Gartenmayer, praised the student-athletes and highlighted the support from coaches and staff. This recognition marks a significant increase from the previous year, where 90 athletes were honored.
