What's Happening?
The California State University (CSU) system has announced the introduction of three new bachelor's degree types: Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Professional Studies, and Bachelor of Applied Studies. This marks the first addition of new degree types in over
30 years. The CSU Board of Trustees approved these degrees to create flexible learning pathways that require fewer credits than traditional models, aiming to expand access to higher education for a diverse student body.
