Marilyn Patricia 'Pat' Rotunno, a long-time resident of Wilmette, Illinois, passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Rotunno, with whom she shared
68 years of marriage. Marilyn is survived by her children, J. Dennis, Doken John, Gerard, Thomas, Mary Pat Lyons, and Marquerite Mehler, along with 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her infant sons, James and Patrick. A visitation is scheduled for December 13, 2025, at Saints Joseph & Francis Xavier Parish in Wilmette, followed by a Funeral Mass. Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery Chapel in Des Plaines, Illinois. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Misericordia in Chicago or the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana.
