What's Happening?
Meaghan Elizabeth Lefkovitz, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Meaghan was known for
her warm smile, love for others, and strong spirit, which left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She attended Glencoe Public Schools and graduated from New Trier High School in 2008. Meaghan is survived by her parents, Glenn and Veronica Hanley Lefkovitz, her siblings Christopher, John, and Charlotte, and her grandmother, Arlene Gould Lefkovitz. She also leaves behind a large extended family, including 25 first cousins and numerous aunts and uncles. A private celebration of her life is scheduled for January 24th. The family has requested that donations in Meaghan's memory be made to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago or Misericordia Heart of Mercy Chicago.
