Directed by John Mossman, the film follows Callie, a college student working as a line cook alongside ex-cons and cartel members, as they prepare for a health inspector's visit. The film is being shot at the former Effin Egg restaurant, transformed into the Kimchi-Rito set. Deer, who also serves as a producer and editor, draws inspiration from her own experiences in the restaurant industry.
