What's Happening?
Raytheon has finalized a $3.7 billion contract to supply Ukraine with Patriot Guidance Enhanced Missile-Tactical (GEM-T) interceptors. These interceptors are part of the Patriot Advanced Capability-2 (PAC-2) system, designed to neutralize airborne threats
such as tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and hostile aircraft. Production will occur partly at a new facility in Schrobenhausen, Germany, owned by COMLOG, a joint venture between Raytheon and MBDA Deutschland.
