Gregory George Murphy passed away peacefully at his home on August 5th, 2025, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, his children, Michael and Laura, and his grandson, Liam Joseph. Known for his quiet kindness and generosity,
Greg was a devoted father, especially attentive to his son Michael's special needs. His love for nature was evident in his work in silviculture, carpentry, and groundskeeping. Greg was also a talented ball player in his youth and had a great sense of humor. His family and friends remember him for his unwavering support and the joy he brought into their lives.

In accordance with Greg's wishes, there will be no public visitation, and a private burial has already taken place. The family has requested that donations be made to the Shriners of PEI, Special Olympics, and the Alzheimer's Society in his memory. This gesture aligns with Greg's lifelong commitment to helping others and supporting causes that were close to his heart. The community is expected to continue honoring his memory through these contributions and by emulating his values of kindness and service.
