Marie Hudgins-Howard, affectionately known as 'Ree,' passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in Fayette, Tennessee, she spent her early years in Arkansas before moving to Gary, Indiana. Marie was a graduate of Lovell's Barber College and a dedicated member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love and community service. Her funeral services will be held at Morning Star M.B. Church, with interment at Evergreen Memorial Park.
