Volz Servos has unveiled the DA 26 brushless actuator, designed to enhance the reliability and longevity of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The actuator features a brushless DC motor and a contactless position sensing system, which together eliminate
mechanical wear and reduce electromagnetic interference. The actuator is housed in a saltwater-resistant aluminum casing, meeting IP67 standards for dust and water resistance. It includes a six-stage, ball-bearing-supported steel gear train for smooth torque transmission. The DA 26 supports multiple electrical interfaces, including PWM and RS-485, and offers optional humidity sensing. It has been tested for over 3 million operational cycles, adhering to military standards for vibration and shock resistance.
