A Rottweiler puppy named Locksley was found in dire condition after being left alone for a week following the death of his owner. The puppy, estimated to be 7 to 8 weeks old, was discovered by Rochelle Steffen, CEO and founder of Mac’s Mission, a rescue
organization in Jackson, Missouri. Locksley was the only surviving puppy from his litter, suffering from malnutrition, dehydration, and an upper respiratory infection. He was found hiding under a couch, lifeless, and was immediately given medical attention, including fluids and antibiotics. After spending two days in intensive care, Locksley began to recover and is now thriving in a foster home.
