Sweden has purchased and tested replicas of Russian drones, specifically the MACE and STORK models, to better understand and counter Russian drone tactics. These drones were acquired from the Ukrainian
drone builder UAC and tested at Sweden's newly established UAS testing facility in Karlsborg. The MACE drone, similar to Russia's Lancet, is a one-way attack drone launched from a pneumatic catapult, while the STORK LR is a reconnaissance drone akin to Russia's Orlan-10.
