Mexico has also seen a significant increase in Chinese car sales, accounting for about 15% of the domestic market. This influx is attributed to China's government subsidies and low production costs. In response, Latin American countries are implementing measures to protect their industries, such as imposing tariffs and eliminating tax exemptions on imports.
