The Clipper City Chordsmen, an all-male a cappella group from Manitowoc, recently showcased their musical talents at the Land O' Lakes District Barbershop Convention and Competition in Minneapolis. The event,
which took place on October 10-11, attracted over 500 barbershop enthusiasts from five U.S. states and three Canadian provinces. The Chordsmen, along with their quartet Quandary, performed two songs from the animated movie 'Toy Story': 'I Will Go Sailing No More' and 'You've Got a Friend in Me.' Another quartet, Lake Effect, participated in the event by receiving intensive coaching in performance and musicality. The Chordsmen, celebrating their 80th year, continue to welcome new members to their rehearsals in Manitowoc.
