The United Nations Geneva headquarters has received a gift of five peacocks from India, continuing a tradition that dates back to the League of Nations. The peacocks, including four blue and one rare white-feathered
male, were introduced to their new home in Ariana Park during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The birds will be temporarily housed in an aviary before being allowed to roam freely.
