Kevin Wright, head coach of Carmel High School, has been named the Colts/NFL Coach of the Week. This recognition comes after Carmel's victory over Westfield, marking their first win against the Shamrocks since 2019. The award is part of a program by the Indianapolis Colts, sponsored by Corteva Agriscience and Certor Sports, to honor outstanding high school football coaches in Indiana. Coaches are evaluated based on their impact on the team, school, and community, as well as the team's performance. Wright's team improved to 2-0 in the 2025 season with a 34-10 win. The program, now in its 26th year, selects one coach each week from across the state, regardless of school size or division.
