WestJet, Canada's second-largest airline, is set to upgrade its fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft by introducing a premium class cabin. The airline plans to retrofit 43 of its Boeing 737s, which currently have an all-economy layout, to include 12 Premium Class seats in a 2-2 configuration. The retrofitted aircraft will also feature 36 Extended Comfort seats, offering extra legroom, and standard economy seats with varying legroom. Additionally, all seats will be equipped with power outlets and personal device holders, although seat-back entertainment will not be available. WestJet is also in the process of introducing free Starlink Wi-Fi on its flights.
