The Odisha Cabinet has approved a proposal for Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. to establish an integrated solar manufacturing facility in the Tata Special Economic Zone in Ganjam district. The project, with an investment of INR 10,000 crore, will be
implemented in two phases, focusing on ingot-wafer manufacturing and solar cell production. It is expected to generate over 5,000 direct and indirect jobs, including high-skilled technical roles.
