The EU AI Act mandates that deployers of AI systems disclose certain AI-generated or manipulated content, such as deep fakes and AI-generated text on public interest matters that have not undergone human review. The guidelines also include provisions for labelling AI-generated work with an 'AI-assisted' disclaimer, although Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) are not currently required to disclose AI-generated amendments or parliamentary work.
