Workforce Solutions North Texas (WSNT) has been awarded a $250,000 Workforce Innovation Fund grant at the 28th annual Texas Workforce Conference in Corpus Christi. This grant is intended for the development
of new and innovative workforce projects designed by Workforce Development Boards. WSNT serves several counties in North Texas, including Archer, Baylor, and Wichita. The grant will be used to create a tool that utilizes 360-degree imaging technology, commonly used in real estate, to provide virtual tours of high-demand industry worksites. This initiative aims to offer students and educators insights into job responsibilities, skills, and educational pathways, thereby aiding informed career and training decisions. Additionally, Allegiance Electric & Controls was recognized as the Local Employer of Excellence for its support of workforce development and upskilling programs.
