study initially focused on wound healing in mice, where researchers observed accelerated hair growth around healing wounds. The study, published in the journal Frontiers in Pharmacology, developed a testosterone-driven hair loss model in mice to mimic human male pattern baldness. Application of 2dDR led to the formation of new blood vessels and subsequent hair regrowth. The results showed significant improvements in hair length, diameter, follicle density, and blood vessel count. The sugar's effectiveness was comparable to minoxidil, a current FDA-approved treatment for hair loss.
