What's Happening?
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in India has updated its Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), adding 6,922 MW of solar module capacity in October 2025. This update brings the total enlisted capacity to 116,467 MW. Several companies, including Gautam Solar, Bluebird Solar, Goldi Solar, and Rayzon Solar, have increased their capacities, while Solitech Green Energy has entered the list with a capacity of 1,321 MW. The ALMM framework aims to promote domestic manufacturing and ensure quality standards in the solar industry.
