The Imperial Valley Center for Exceptional Children (IVCEC) recently held a ceremony to honor three graduates of its Adult Transition Program. The event took place on June 2, with friends and family gathering to celebrate the achievements of Daniel Pichardo
Lopez, Jorge 'Juni' Castillo, and Marlyn Casasola. Each graduate was recognized for their growth, determination, and resilience. Daniel Pichardo Lopez, although unable to attend, was praised for mastering vocational skills and improving communication and behavior. Jorge Castillo was celebrated for his progress in using technology and vocational skills. Marlyn Casasola, who has been with IVCEC since age three, was acknowledged for her social and physical activity participation. The ceremony marked a significant milestone for the graduates as they transition to the next stages of their lives.
