Epic Group has installed high-temperature industrial heat pumps at its apparel manufacturing hub in Bhubaneswar, India, marking a significant step towards carbon-free manufacturing. The facility, operated
by Trimetro Garments India Private Limited, is set to commence production on December 1, 2025, and is designed to operate as a net-zero carbon site. The heat pumps, developed with TRIGeN and Tonello, deliver 135°C pressurized hot water for dryers, displacing 12,500 tonnes of CO₂ over the pilot's lifetime. This initiative is part of Epic Group's commitment to decarbonizing industrial heat, which accounts for a significant portion of carbon emissions in the fashion industry.
