South Korea's exports of agricultural and food products increased by 5% in the first 10 months of 2025, driven by strong demand in the Middle East, the European Union, and North America. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs reported that
outbound shipments reached $8.59 billion, compared to $8.18 billion a year ago. Exports to the Middle East spiked 20.4%, with significant increases also seen in the EU and North America. Despite escalating U.S. tariffs, exports to the Middle East jumped 23.5%, fueled by demand for Korean ice cream, beverages, and sauces.
