Researchers at the University of Rochester, in collaboration with Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital, have developed a new method to deliver CBD directly to the brain, providing pain
relief without side effects. The study, published in Cell Chemical Biology, used a specialized delivery system called CBD-IN, which encloses CBD molecules within water-soluble nano-micelles. This method allows CBD to cross the blood-brain barrier effectively, reducing nerve activity in areas associated with pain. The findings suggest that CBD-IN could be a safer alternative for treating chronic pain.
