Walter A. Kalinka Jr., a resident of Palos Hills, Illinois, has passed away at the age of 80. Known affectionately as 'Wally,' he died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Kalinka was a beloved husband to Maria and a father to four children: Laura,
Cinthia, Michael, and Robert. He was also a cherished grandfather to six grandchildren. Kalinka was an active member of the Order Sons of Italy and served as President of the Southwest Lodge #2558 for several years. His funeral services are scheduled to take place at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, followed by a mass at Sacred Heart Church and interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
